Nicki van Gelder, educated in Holland and the UK, started her career at the Palace Theatre Watford, moving on to the Shaw Theatre, where, at that time, the National Youth Theatre was based. She then became an agent joining Jeremy Conway to form Conway van Gelder. Happily John Grant joined us and we became Conway van Gelder Grant Ltd.
Born and raised in London, John began working at an agency shortly after graduating from the Arts Educational Drama Department. He has been with CVGG for over twenty five years.
Nicholas graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in English Literature. He went on to train on the classical acting course at Webber Douglas. He worked as the Casting and Literary Co-Ordinator at Salisbury Playhouse and then as Casting Assistant for Lucinda Syson before joining CVGG in 2008.
Kat read Drama at The University of Hull and briefly joined the casting department of the RSC before finding her home at CVGG in 2005. Having begun as junior assistant to both Nicki van Gelder and John Grant, for many years she worked as Nicki's associate. She now works closely with Georgie Davies.
Greg read English & Theatre Studies at Warwick University before training as an actor at Mountview. He joined Curtis Brown in 2013 where he assisted two senior agents before leaving to develop a list of his own at Troika. He joined CVGG, along with his list of both emerging and established talent, in the summer of 2020.
David originally trained as an assistant to John Grant before departing to travel Europe. Returning to the UK, he joined Vivienne Clore working with writers, comedians, producers and actors before developing his own list. Having worked with Vivienne for over 10 years, David returned to Conway Van Gelder Grant in 2022, bringing with him his exciting list of established and emerging talent.
Georgie read English & Theatre Studies at the University of Sheffield. She joined CVGG in 2014, working in Nicki van Gelder's team. Georgie is now developing her own list whilst working alongside Kat Oliver. Georgie was selected as one of Screen Daily's Future Leaders 2023.
Alice trained with the Year Out Drama Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, with further studies in theatre administration at RADA and City Lit. She began working as General Manager at the Finborough Theatre and made her way to CVGG in 2013 as assistant to John Grant. After ten years working with John, she is now focussed on her own list.
Rachael read English Literature at Birmingham University. After graduating she worked as a production runner before joining CVGG to assist Nicki van Gelder. Rachael began developing her list in 2015 and continues to work alongside Nicki as co-agent.
Clarissa hails from Brazil originally and grew up in Singapore. She studied Law at the University of Buckingham and moved to London after graduating where she worked at a few agencies before joining CVGG in 2020, where she is now an associate to Nicki van Gelder.
James read Business and Logistics at Loughborough University. After graduating and a brief period in the private jet charter industry, he joined Gavin Barker Associates where he assisted Gavin Barker before leaving to join CVGG. James now works alongside Nicholas Gall as his associate whilst developing his own list.
After schooling at the French Lycée in London, Emile graduated with a joint honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Edinburgh. After stints at C&W, Curtis Brown and TTA and following a brief career in Production, Emile joined CVGG in 2021 to assist Greg Herst.
Polly graduated with a BA in Philosophy & Sociology from Leeds University in 2016. She jumped into the industry in 2017 finding work with PBJ, IAG and then United Agents, where she was for over 4 years before finally joining the team at CVGG in 2022 as an assistant to John Grant.
Phoebe read History at the University of Bristol. After graduating in 2019, she worked in Television Development before joining Independent Talent Group as their runner. Phoebe was subsequently picked up by ITG's Voice Over Department in 2020, before joining CvGG in 2022 to assist John Grant.
Lotti trained at RADA for a year before reading English Lit at Goldsmith’s university. She joined Hamilton Hodell in 2016 and after two and half years swapped the office life to travel & teach yoga. In 2021, she joined CVGG as part of Nicki van Gelder’s team and continues to teach alongside.
Aodhán studied Medicine at the University of Bristol before moving to London for an intercalation in Medical Anthropology at UCL. He graduated in 2022 and interned with the BBC and Number 9 Films before joining CVGG to assist Kat Oliver and Georgie Davies.
Olivia studied English at UCL before completing a Masters in Broadcast Journalism at City University. She worked as a freelance journalist for two years, and then entered the TV industry as a development researcher for Blink Films. Following this, she worked as an Agent’s Assistant at The Soho Agency before joining CVGG in 2023 to assist David Lazenby.
Suzanne Ford worked for legendary agent Anne Hutton from the age of 18, before joining forces with Christina Shepherd. After forming her own theatrical agency, she left the industry to bring up her two children before returning to run the commercials department in 2019.
Kate started her career working for The Richard Stone Partnership. She later joined CVGG and has been here ever since. She has worked across most areas of agenting, and heads up Bespoke Voices as well as the CVGG campaigns and documentaries division.
Grace graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2022 having studied Drama and Theatre. She joined CVGG at the start of 2023 and assists agent Kate Plumpton with the campaigns and documentaries side of the agency as well as supporting the team at Bespoke.

Hayley studied Modern Drama Studies at Brunel University and soon after joined the late Jackie Michael and Jo McLintock at A&J Management as a theatrical agent. She joined CVGG in the visual commercials department back in 2012 before moving over to form sister company Bespoke Voice Agency in 2018. She works as a dedicated voice agent alongside Kate Plumpton and assistant Erin Cameron. She also specialises in motion and performance capture work for games on behalf of CVGG.
Erin studied Music at the University of Southampton, specialising in film composition, and graduating in 2019. She joined Bespoke Voice Agency in April 2021 as Kate and Hayley's assistant and looks after BVA's social media presence.
Jane graduated from Northumbria University having studied mathematics and joined a local company’s account team before leaving to move to London. She is highly experienced having worked previously over 20 years at PFD, Talkback Management and then Troika before joining CVGG in November 2020.
Cheryl has worked in accounts all of her working life. After working for 2 accountancy practices for 21 years, she decided it was time to work for Company Director whose family feel she enjoyed for 8 years until it was sadly sold. She then joined CVGG in May 20 and it has the same family feel and her love for numbers.
Hanna moved to the UK from South Korea many years ago. She worked in various jobs while studying ACCA before getting an opportunity at Troika as a temporary finance assistant. She worked her way up and became a client accountant for several years. She joined CVGG in the summer of 2021.
Julie joined The Peggy Thompson Office (Accounts to CVGG) in 2013 as an account’s assistant before going on to work for CVVG directly in 2019.
