Martina has worked extensively as an actor for theatres including the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Almeida, Royal Court, Kiln Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Theatre Royal Stratford East and the Donmar Warehouse. She was nominated for a Best Actress Evening Standard Award for her role in Moon on a Rainbow Shawl at the National Theatre. Having appeared in many television series, Martina is best known as the popular character Comfort Jones on BBC’s flagship drama Casualty. In her five years on the show, she won two acting awards from the Michael Elliott Foundation and the BFM (Screen Nation) Awards.
Martina has worked as a director and tutor at LAMDA, ArstEd, Wac Arts, Collage Arts, RADA, Associated Studios, Interchange Studios and Southwark Playhouse.
