Renée Lamb

Renée will next be seen in the 6 part BBC series THIS TOWN penned by Steven Knight. Set in 1981 where ska and two-tone music is uniting black, white and Asian youths in the streets and estates of the West Midlands, an extended family and four young people are drawn into the world of music through the context of ongoing social unrest.

Best known for originating the role of Catherine Of Aragon in the multi-award winning SIX, Renée recently originated the leading role of Jeanne in Drew McOnie's CAKE, a retelling of the story of Marie Antoinette that sparked a revolution, set in 18th Century France.

Previous stage credits include the original casts of FANTASTICALLY GREAT WOMEN WHO CHANGED THE WORLD, BE MORE CHILL, Emma Rice's award winning MALORY TOWERS, AIN'T MISBEHAVIN and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS for Regents Park.

On screen Renée played the regular role of Ulrika in STILL SO AWKWARD (BBC) and made her film debut in THIS IS THE NIGHT MAIL.
