An accomplished classical actor, Ralph has already played several leading men. He received the Ian Charleson award for playing Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, appeared as Edmund in King Lear, and most recently played Iago In Othello at the Sam Wanamaker Theatre Playhouse.
Filming has just wrapped for Film Club, a comedy drama which Ralph has co-written and created for the BBC. He’ll be appearing in the show as Dominic, a middle-aged Alan Partridge figure trapped in the body of a twenty-something junior doctor.
Other screen credits include the hugely popular HBO series House of the Dragon, Big Boys for Channel 4, SAS: Rogue Heroes, Life After Life and Steve McQueen’s Small Axe for the BBC.
Onstage, he’s played several other main roles at theatres such as the RSC, Chichester, as well as performing in A Streetcar Named Desire at the Almeida with Paul Mescal and Patsy Ferran.
Ralph trained at RADA.
