Joe is one half of Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominated sketch double act Goodbear. Their critically acclaimed show ‘Dougal’ was named one of the best reviewed shows of the Fringe and was nominated for a Chortle Award. Their BBC Radio 4 drama ‘Lyra’ was nominated for an ARIA and won Best Comedy Drama at The BBC Audio Drama Awards 2026.
Joe’s screen credits include ‘Muzlamic’ (BBC 3), ‘Mothers Best Child’ (Channel 4) and he has written and starred in a series of BBC 3 Quickies which have gained over 17 million views online. He has also written for and appeared in ‘The Now Show’, ‘Newsjack’ and ‘Newsjack Unplugged’ for BBC Radio 4. His latest short film ‘Date Night’ has screened at BAFTA qualifying festivals Manchester and Glasgow and won the Robert Kramer Award at LOCO.
Joe has worked in writers’ rooms for BBC Studios, Red Planet, Tiger Aspect and Working Title. He is currently developing his own projects for the screen.
