Izuka Hoyle

Izuka won the 2022 BAFTA Scotland 'Best Actress in Film' for her role in BOILING POINT and received the 2023 BAFTA Scotland nomination for 'Best Actress in Television' for her role in the Channel 4 comedy BIG BOYS. 

She is has just filmed a supporting lead in new BBC comedy thriller LUDWIG, plays series regular Camille in the BBC adaptation of BOILING POINT, and continues to play series regular Corinne in Roughcut / Channel 4's BIG BOYS. 

She previously filmed THE AFTER with David Oyelowo, which has just been nominated for an Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film. 

Having just finished filming as a series regular on the Amazon comedy series DINNER WITH THE PARENTS, Izuka has also recently wrapped on the BBC's drama THE RESPONDER S2, and Jeff Popes drama SUSPECT: THE SHOOTING OF JEAN CHARLES DE MENEZES for Disney+.

In film she can be seen in the Netflix adaptation of PERSUASION opposite Dakota Johnson, and has just been seen in THE OUTRUN opposite Saoirse Ronan which premiered at 2024's Sundance Film Festival. 

Listed as Evening Standard's 'Rising Star', Izuka made her professional debut in MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS (Working Title) alongside Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie, and followed this with the film VILLAIN for Phil Barantini, the BBC drama series CLIQUE, the BBC comedy JERK and then joined the cast of CW's THE OUTPOST as series regular WREN. She went on to star in Amazon's WHEEL OF TIME as Dana.

Izuka originated the role of Catherine Parr in SIX THE MUSICAL and was the recipient of the Sondheim Award upon graduating.
