Fayssal’s television credits include ABC’s Stateless (opposite Cate Blanchett, Dominic West and Yvonne Strahovski) directed by Emma Freeman and Jocelyn Moorhouse for which he won the AACTA award for best lead in a television drama in 2020, and STAN’s The Commons (opposite Joanne Froggatt and Rupert Penry-Jones).
He was also a series regular in the Apple series Shantaram ; his feature film credits include Measure for Measure opposite Hugo Weaving, which premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival in 2019 and for which he received an AACTA nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Other feature film credits include The Merger, where he also received a nomination for the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2018. Fayssal can most recently be seen in Late Night With The Devil (with David Dalmachian) and will next be seen in The Correspondent (the story of detained journalist Peter Greste) and opposite Hugo Weaving in How to Make Gravy.
