Erin Doherty

Erin Doherty can currently be seen starring in Jack Thorne and Philip Barantini's number one Netflix limited series ADOLESCENCE. Her turn in the one shot drama has garnered critical acclaim, with The Guardian describing her as "emerging as one of the best actors of her generation", a sentiment echoed by The Independent who lauded her as "masterful shapeshifter and, increasingly, one of the brightest screen and stage stars of her generation”.

Doherty also leads Stephen Knight's Disney Plus and Hulu series A THOUSAND BLOWS opposite Stephen Graham, once again attracting glowing reviews. The Standard named her "chameleon of the year [...] one of the UK’s most immensely watchable talents' whilst the Telegraph reported '[Doherty] steals whatever she wants, including the show and probably next year’s Bafta statuette. It is a sensational performance in a captivating, lawless stampede of a TV show."

Her shape-shifting abilities are a trademark, and have captivated critics and audiences alike, from leading BBC thriller CHLOE to her breakout turn as Princess Anne in THE CROWN, for which she is a two-time SAG Award recipient. On the big screen, Doherty has been seen in Karim Aïnouz's FIREBRAND opposite Alicia Vikander, and starring in thriller REAWAKENING alongside Jared Harris and Juliet Stevenson.

Doherty is also a prolific stage actor. After training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she has become a mainstay of London's West End, most recently seen on stage in DEATH OF ENGLAND: CLOSING TIME, and at the National Theatre leading the cast of THE CRUCIBLE as Abigail Williams. Erin is currently starring in Mike Bartlett's new play, UNICORN.

Doherty has been named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow, an Evening Standard Rising Star and is the recipient of a Newport Beach Award as a 'Breakout Honouree'.
