Emer Kenny

Emer Kenny is an actress and writer who made her acting debut in the BAFTA-nominated single drama ‘Coming Down The​ Mountain’ in 2008. She began to write for screen soon after, honing her skills on BBC’s Eastenders and Holby City, which she followed up with episodes of Hulu’s ‘Harlots’ and Sky’s ‘Save Me Too’. Alongside this, she acted in BBC​ Three​ comedies ‘Pramface’,‘Badults’ and ‘Siblings’, E4’s ‘Beaver Falls’ and played Joan​ Morecambe in Victoria Wood’s BAFTA-winning Morecambe and Wise biopic, ‘Eric an​d​ Ernie’.​ 

Most recently she has written, executive produced and acted in BAFTA-winning ITV crime​ drama ‘Karen Pirie’. Series two​ has just launched on ITV to wonderful reviews.  She has also recently been seen as leading role Tash in Channel 4 heist-comedy ‘The Curse’ series 1+2 from the teams behind ‘Murder In Successville’ and ‘People Just Do Nothing’, released in 2022 and 2023.
