Daniel moved into Casting in 2006 after leaving a 25 year acting career where he worked consistently in Theatre, Film and Television. He set up Daniel Edwards Casting in 2014 and works across Television Drama and Independent Film.
Daniel won an Emmy, an RTS and a CDG award in 2022 for his casting on the Netflix global hit, ‘Heartstopper’, and has been nominated again for Season 2 for the Children and family Emmys of 2025. Daniel is a member of the Casting Directors Guild of Great Britain.
