Chukwudi Iwuji

Chukwudi is currently starring in Sky's THE DAY OF THE JACKAL opposite Eddie Redmayne. Last year he reunited with director James Gunn to make his debut in the Marvel universe starring as the High Evolutionary in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 3. Chukwudi can also be seen starring opposite John Cena in James Gunn’s spinoff series PEACEMAKER for HBO Max and DC.

His television credits include BBC's THE SPLIT, Emmy nominated Amazon limited series THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD, WHEN THEY SEE US, DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, QUANTICO, THE BLINDSPOT, MADAM SECRETARY, and DOCTOR WHO.

Chukwudi’s film credits include starring roles in the Netflix feature SHINE YOUR EYES, DANIEL ISN’T REAL and THE GIRL WHO GOT AWAY, as well as roles in Netflix’s BARRY, Chad Stahelski’s JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 opposite Keanu Reeves, A WOMAN A PART, NOW: IN THE WINGS OF A WORLD STAGE, the multi-award winning EXAM, and FALL TO RISE.

On stage, Chukwudi starred in OTHELLO for The Public Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park as well as in ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, KING LEAR, and HAMLET. His performance in THE LOW ROAD, directed by Michael Greif, earned him an Obie Award. An Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company for his numerous Shakespearean performances, he has also received two Olivier awards for his titular role as HENRY VI in the RSC’s 2009 productions of parts I, II, and III.  Most recently, Chukwudi starred as Cyrano in Pasadena Playhouse's production of CYRANO DE BERGERAC
