Bron Waugh makes films and live shows with his comedy partner Ada Player. Their Channel 4 comedy Blap ‘Peaked’ received a 2025 BAFTA nomination for Short Form and they joined the third cohort of the BBC Comedy Collective last year.
The duo debuted at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe with their hotly anticipated sketch show ‘The Origin Of Love’ and were nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
Previously they have made a series of short films, including Funny Women Shorts winner, ‘Jonny & Tommy’ (screened at: Short Stack: Nottingham Broadway, Mr Tibbs: Close Up Cinema, BBC Radio Bristol), and collaborative online series, ‘Storytellers’ (screened at: Piñata TV and Indoors Project). Their latest short ‘Spare Part’ debuted at Directors Notes.
