Barry has just been announced as a new addition for the third season of HOUSE OF THE DRAGON. This summer, he joins THE SANDMAN's 'Endless Family' as 'The Prodigal/ Destruction' in the second season of the global Netflix hit.
Last year, Barry Sloane starred as 'Yosser Hughes' to critical acclaim in James Graham's BOYS FROM THE BLACKSTUFF which played at Liverpool's Royal Court followed by a transfer to the National Theatre and The Garrick. He also starred in ITV's supernatural thriller PASSENGER - Sloane is an ITV favourite having also starred in long-standing hit crime drama THE BAY and the mini-series LITVINENKO.
Born and raised in Liverpool, Barry originated the role of Troy Whitworth in Jez Butterworth’s critically acclaimed play JERUSALEM at the Royal Court which he then reprised when the play returned to its original West End home, the Apollo Theatre. He has played the lead regular roles of Jake in NBC’s BLUFF CITY LAW, Dante in L.A’s FINEST for Fox, Bear in Seal Team drama SIX for A&E Studios and is well remembered for playing Aiden in the multi award-winning ABC show REVENGE.
Sloane also portrays Captain Price in CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE and received a BAFTA Games Award for Performer in a Leading Role nomination for his work.
