2017 marks 70 years of the internationally celebrated EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL attracting a whopping 4.5 million people every year.

Amongst this year’s comedy highlights are CVGG Voices’ SIMON AMSTELL, SOFIE HAGEN, IVO GRAHAM, FERN BRADY & JOHN HASTINGS.

SIMON AMSTELL has been on the comedy circuit since he was just 13! He has since gone onto international success with his whimsical witty banter in sell-out tours. He will be performing his Work In Progress at the fringe ahead of is 5th UK tour ‘What Is This' later this year.

Award winning London- based Danish comedian and prolific podcaster SOFIE HAGEN is fast becoming a household name. Winner of the coveted Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer, The Chortle Best Newcomer Award and Laughing Horse New Act Of The Year, Sofie’s easy charm has seen her 5-star show sell out venues across the UK and internationally. This year will see Sofie take her third show “Dead Baby Frog” to the Fringe.

Eton and Oxford alumnus IVO GRAHAM will be brining his forth show 'Educated Guess' to the Fringe. Ivo’s TV appearances include Mock The Week (BBC2), Russell oward’s Stand Up Central (Stand Up Central), Live At The Comedy Store (Stand Up Central). As well as stand up, Ivo is a regular writer for various TV comedy shows including The Last Leg (C4) and currently has his own sitcom projects in development with Big Talk Productions and the BBC. 

Edinburgh born FERN BRADY returns after two sold out runs at the Fringe with her third show ‘Suffer, Fools!’. Prior to comedy Fern was a journalist and still occasionally writes opinion pieces for the Guardian. Her TV appearances include 8 out of 10 Cats (C4), Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular (BBC3), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and most recently Brexit stage Left (Viceland). Fern is also a regular radio broadcaster and has recently appeared on State of the Nations (Radio 4) as well as being a regular panelist on BBC Scotland’s topical panel show Breaking the News. 

Also returning to the Fringe is London based Canadian Comic JOHN HASTINGS with his sixth fringe show Audacity. With several awards under his belt, including winner of COCA Comedian of The Year and The Amused Moose Best Show Award Nominee, John has been pinned as ‘one to watch’ by The Comedy Network.
